John Heraty Book

The book consolidates much of the recent research on the phylogenomics of Chalcidoidea. It is co-authored by many of the world authorities and focuses on the systematics and biology of chalcidoid wasps. It provides an introduction to the family, a review of chalcidoid morphology, an overview of the fossil record,  an identification key to the 50 families, detailed treatments of the families, as well as chapters on biological control, genetics, hyperparasitoids, immature stages, miniaturization, morphometrics, speciation, symbionts and more. The book is a must for future systematists, biological control researchers, and those just interested in browsing the wonderful array of images and knowledge of their amazing biologies!
